Dieter Weisshaar is the successor of the company founder, Bernhard Bruscha, who is now the chairman of the supervisory board. Tuebingen, April 2, 2002. The name of the winner at the International Paderborn Computer Chess Championship (IPCCC) is once again "Shredder". As last year, the chess program of Stefan Meyer-Kahlen took first place with a half-point lead over the challenger "Fritz" from ChessBase. The annual event organised by the University of Paderborn counts in the computer chess scene as the unofficial German championship.
