Syd Cochrane takes over as head of transtec in Great Britain and Ireland

transtec, the business-to-business (B2B) systems manufacturer with direct sales solidified its personnel basis in Great Britain. On March 1, 2001, Syd Cochrane (51) will take over as head of transtec in Great Britain and Ireland.

Before Syd Cochrane came to transtec AG, he worked 28 years for the Olivetti Group in various positions. His last position was as Business Unit Manager for Great Britain and Ireland. His tasks at Olivetti Group included managing and developing distribution channels. He was responsible for all aspects of sales and marketing within the IT environment.

Due to Syd Cochrane's extensive industry know-how and his many years of experience, he will be able to give transtec in Great Britain a new impulse. He will be able to considerably contribute to the planned exponential growth on the British market.

The British market is the second largest IT market in Europe. Since 1991, transtec has
been represented in Great Britain by one subsidiary.
