Q3: transtec AG considerably increases turnover
Results affected by non-recurring expenditures

Tübingen, October 24th 2000.
The IT system manufacturer transtec based in Tuebingen, Germany, has reported group sales of 132.9 million Euro for the first nine months of 2000. Compared with the same period last year (117.1 million Euro), a 13.5 % increase has been made. According to IAS, the profit after tax for the year amounts to -5.2 million Euro (in the same period in 1999: 2.4 million Euro).

transtec AG Forms e-business Company:
Virtual Warehouse Becomes tec2b AG

Tübingen, August 02nd 2000.
transtec AG, listed on the Neuer Markt, announces the formation of an autonomous e-business company. Effective immediately, the newly formed tec2b AG commences business operations as a 100% subsidiary of transtec AG. Gabriele Instenberg, who transferred from the Landesbank Baden-Württemberg to transtec AG at the beginning of July, is appointed to the executive board of tec2b AG. Manfred Rubin-Schwarz, who has already been a member of the transtec executive board since 1996, also occupies a position on the executive board of the new company.

22 % increase in turnover in second quarter, 16 % in the first half of the year

In the second quarter of 2000, the transtec AG’s growth in turnover increased considerably. With 45.6 million Euro, the turnover for between April and June this year was 21.6 % higher than that of the same period last year (37.5 million Euro). Thus, for the first half of the year 2000, there has been an increase in turnover from 77.3 million Euro to 89.7 million Euro, which is equivalent to 16.0 %. When compared with the first
quarter of 2000, these turnover figures are considerably better.

transtec increases turnover in the first quarter by 11 %
Volume of orders doubles from 6 million EUR to 12 million EUR

Tübingen, May 3rd 2000.
In the first quarter of 2000 the transtec group made a turnover of 44.1 million Euro. Thus, compared to 39.8 million Euro in the first quarter of 1999, turnover of the business-to-business (B2B) system manufacturer with direct sales rose by 10.8%. Consumer resistance, caused by the special "Year 2000" situation, partially effected turnover in the first two months of this year. This situation has resulted in a large volume of orders amounting to 11.7 million Euro, which, compared to the previous year (6,0 million Euro), has doubled.

In fiscal year 1999, transtec AG, the business-to-business (B2B) system manufacturer with direct sales, achieved a new record turnover of 175.0 million Euro, a plus of 22.7 % in comparison with 142.6 million Euro in the previous year. The consolidated annual net income also achieved a new record high with an increase of 19.6 % to 4.1 million Euro (3.4 million Euro in the previous year). The management board will suggest a shareholder dividend of 0.60 Euro per share (0.56 Euro in the previous year) at the general meeting of shareholders on 25 May 2000 in Stuttgart.

transtec AG, the B2B system manufacturer, has increased turnover by 23% to 175.0 million Euro (142.6 million Euro in 1998) according to the provisional 1999 figures. The IAS result shows 4.0 million Euro, a plus of 18% in comparison with 3.4 million Euro in the previous year. On 31/12/1999, the IT direct vendor, listed on the Neuer Markt,
employed 350 people in the corporate group, 103 more than in 1998 (247).
