European Automotive CFD Conference (EACC), Frankfurt/Main, 5–6 July 2007

The European Automotive CFD Conference (EACC) was the largest european event related to automotive applications of computer-aided fluid dynamics (CFD) even before the merger of Fluent and ANSYS. More than 400 participants are expected at this year’s conference.

The event offers an ideal platform for the exchange of information and experience on the entire CFD spectrum and related simulation technology. The 3rd EACC provides a unique opportunity of keeping abreast of the latest developments in Computer Aided Engineering (CAE).

transtec will demonstrate the power of the latest HPC cluster systems combined with CPU-intensive CFD software. The fifteen-year-old Milad Mafi, who is a participant in the “Jugend forscht” program, will demonstrate his simulations of turbulence created by Formula One cars on a transtec HPC cluster system running Fluent live simulation software.
