The InfraKon consists of a series of regional conferences all held under the very topical motto "Security and High-Availability in the Data Centre". The conferences are accompanied by foyer exhibits. InfraKon’s broad reach makes it an ideal platform for the exchange of information and experience among IT experts. It is deliberately not restricted to meetings between heads of data centres and IT infrastructure experts but rather aims to bring together all those responsible for structuring IT security, including specialists in power supply, cooling and air conditioning, fire protection, IT cabling, infrastructure management, energy efficiency, and site security.

A talk on each conference topic will be given by one of the premium sponsors. They will also exhibit their products and services in the foyer. This unique platform for the exchange of interdisciplinary knowledge and experience is rounded out by selected situation reports by planers and operators.
