Axel Queck

Axel Queck, born in 1968, is member of the management board of transtec AG, a German IT producer with headquarters in Tübingen. He is in charge of control, accounting, human resources, IT and production/logistics at transtec.

Axel Queck, who was born in Stuttgart, studied business administration at the University of Tübingen with a major in marketing and Industrial Management and Human Factors. After receiving his diploma in 1995 he obtained his first position at the Munich branch office of Interflex Datensysteme GmbH. He was subsequently transferred to the firm's headquarters in Stuttgart, where he first worked as controller. He became acting head of the personnel and finance departments in 1998.

In 2000 Axel Queck was appointed to the extended management board. In 2002 his responsibilities were expanded to cover finance, personnel and EDP. Axel Queck became manager of Interflex Datensysteme GmbH & Co. KG in 2003. Since September, 2004 he has been member of the management board of transtec AG.

Axel Queck is married and has two children. His favourite hobbies are skiing and sailing and he is an avid traveller.
